Japanese Bilingual Editor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Japanese Bilingual Production Editor (Contract).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform copy editing and proofreading on English and Japanese Magic cards and related materials
• Build and maintain accurate records in the Magic card set database
• Translate written materials between English and Japanese for Universes Beyond cards and packaging

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a paid copy editor or proofreader for both English and Japanese content
• 2+ years of experience playing Magic and familiarity with Magic cards
• Professional proficiency in English and working-level proficiency in Japanese (N3 or higher)
• Flexible and adaptable mindset with a desire for continuous learning
• Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively with others
