Japanese Interpreter

Job Summary

To support an Order Management team during a key shipping and receiving go-live initiative, the contract Japanese Interpreter will provide real-time interpretation between Japanese and English speakers in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide real-time Japanese-to-English and English-to-Japanese interpretation during virtual meetings
• Support communication between U.S. and Japan-based teams, assisting during shipping and operational go-live activities
• Clarify questions, action items, and operational updates between stakeholders in project meetings and training sessions

Required qualifications

• Fluency in both Japanese and English (spoken and written)
• Previous interpretation or customer service experience is a plus
• Comfortable participating in fast-paced virtual meetings
• A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
