Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-Time Japanese Language Instructor (Remote - 1:1 | VR & Video Platform).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging 1:1 communicative lessons focused on speaking and listening
• Utilize immersive VR environments or video conferencing for instruction
• Monitor and support learner progress toward communicative goals

Required Qualifications

• BA in Japanese Language Education, Applied Linguistics, or a related field, or a teaching certification with extensive experience
• 2+ years of structured Japanese language teaching experience
• Experience teaching adult learners in professional or academic contexts
• Near-native or native-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1 or ACTFL Advanced High)
• Minimum B2-level English proficiency and comfort with technology
