Job Summary

A company is looking for a Spring 2026 and Summer 2026 Languages Tutor-Japanese.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide at least five hours of tutoring per week in Japanese, focusing on grammar, writing, and oral skills
• Attend Tutor Meetings and Training Sessions, and maintain communication with the Tutoring Coordinator and Assistant Director of Administration
• Support department cultural activities and weekly conversation sessions as needed

Required Qualifications

• Advanced or near-native fluency in Japanese
• Intermediate-to-high proficiency in English for effective communication
• Excellent organizational skills
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience in Japanese is preferred
• Graduate students or advanced undergraduate students are encouraged to apply
