Job Summary

A company is looking for a Spring 2026 and Summer 2026 Languages Tutor-Japanese.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide at least five hours of tutoring per week in Japanese, supporting students' language proficiency
• Attend Tutor Meetings and Training Sessions, maintaining communication with the Tutoring Coordinator and Assistant Director of Administration
• Assist in departmental cultural activities and weekly conversation sessions

Required Qualifications

• Advanced or near-native fluency in Japanese
• Intermediate-to-high proficiency in English for effective communication
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience in the target language (preferred)
• Graduate or advanced undergraduate student status (preferred)
• Familiarity with language teaching or pedagogy (preferred)
