Japanese LQA Game Tester

Job Summary

To support the Localization Quality Assurance department, the temporary Japanese LQA Game Tester will work remotely to identify and correct translation errors, assess game tone and cultural relevance, and create detailed reports using Excel and Jira.

Key responsibilities

• Finding and correcting translation errors, spelling mistakes, and ambiguities
• Checking the game's tone, style, audio, text, and cultural correctness
• Creating reports in Excel and Jira while submitting quality improvement suggestions

Required qualifications

• Japanese C2 level or native proficiency
• English C1 level for internal communication and reporting
• Perfect knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation in Japanese
• Good MS Office skills, particularly in Excel
• Experience in game testing, translation, or linguistic game testing is a plus
