Java Application Support Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Java Application Support Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and deploy scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and CI/CD pipelines
• Manage microservices in production and work with event streaming platforms like Kafka and Google Pub/Sub
• Utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Jenkins for project management and version control

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java 11/17 and the Spring ecosystem
• Expertise in incident resolution and production support
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments, preferably GCP
• Knowledge of Kafka, Pub/Sub, and containerized applications on Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools
