Java Architect
Job Summary
To enhance application performance, the contract-to-hire Java Architect will work remotely to identify improvements in the Java code base, create design documents, and review code for quality and security compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Identify performance improvement opportunities within the Java code base and assist in implementing solutions
- Create design documents for Java code currently written in IBM Assembler
- Review code for thread safety, code quality, and security violations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of experience developing applications in Java
- Active IRS MBI Clearance and current GFE required
- Prior hands-on experience with Spring Batch and Spring Boot
- Experience with object-oriented and aspect-oriented design and development
- US Citizenship required
