Java Backend Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Java Backend Developer with a focus on data and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and improve database schemas; write and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability
• Develop backend services in Java using the Spring ecosystem and contribute to design discussions
• Investigate and solve production performance issues, understanding large dataset behavior under load

Required Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in Java backend development
• Strong knowledge of the Spring Framework and hands-on experience with Hibernate and JPA
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server; Oracle experience is a plus
• Interest in performance tuning and data-heavy problems
• Comfortable working remotely with international colleagues
