Java Backend Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Java Backend Developer with a focus on Data & Performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and improve database schemas; write and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability
• Develop backend services in Java using the Spring ecosystem and contribute to design discussions with a data-centric perspective
• Investigate and solve production performance issues while understanding large dataset behavior under load

Required Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in Java backend development
• Solid experience with Java and good knowledge of the Spring Framework
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate and JPA
• Strong interest in SQL and relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server
• Willingness to engage in performance tuning and data-heavy challenges
