Java Backend Developer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Java Backend Developer, the successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices using Java and Spring Boot while working remotely in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and secure microservices with Java and Spring Boot
- Develop Fastify-based Node.js microservices utilizing strong TypeScript and JavaScript skills
- Collaborate with teams to deliver critical business capabilities and ensure effective API lifecycle management
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Security
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript for backend development
- Hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (Redis, Amazon Redshift)
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message brokers such as Kafka
- Experience with AWS and GCP managed services
