Java Backend Developer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Java Backend Developer will collaborate with architects and analysts to create robust systems, integrate application services with frontend components, and ensure software quality through thorough testing.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in requirement discussions, team meetings, and technical sessions to contribute to the development process
- Integrate backend services with frontend applications to ensure end-to-end functionality
- Conduct research, proof of concepts, and present findings to team members
Required qualifications
- 4 to 6 years of experience in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate
- Proficiency in AWS or Azure DevOps and developing microservices using SOAP and RESTful APIs
- Experience with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB, and relational databases like Oracle or MySQL
- Familiarity with AGILE methodology and reactive programming
- A degree in Engineering or a Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred
