Java Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced Java Backend Engineers will find a full-time remote opportunity focused on developing and deploying microservices using Java and Spring Boot, while managing Kubernetes services and performing JVM profiling.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Deploy and operate services on Kubernetes, ensuring reliability and performance
• Diagnose and resolve memory leaks, latency issues, and security vulnerabilities in production environments

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot microservices
• 3+ years of experience deploying services on Kubernetes (GKE or AWS)
• Hands-on experience with JVM profiling and heap analysis
• Proficiency in Git, including pull requests and branch protection rules
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
