Java Backend Engineer

Job Summary

To support the expansion of an AI-based prediction service, the full-time Java Backend Engineer will design, develop, and maintain the system while collaborating with data science teams, working remotely during American or European hours.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain the Parknav prediction service
• Research and implement new methodologies and applications related to geospatial data and machine learning
• Collaborate with data science and machine learning teams to enhance analysis and predictions on street-level geospatial data

Required qualifications

• Expertise in Java programming
• Experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Proficiency in Spring or Lightbend stacks
• Background in Math/Machine Learning or geospatial mapping experience
• Fluent in English with the ability to work independently
