Java Backend Engineer
Job Summary
To design and build high-performance, scalable systems, the full-time Java Backend Engineer will develop and maintain low-latency, high-availability backend services with a focus on RESTful API design and troubleshooting production issues in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems
- Debug production issues and maintain existing codebases
- Collaborate with the Bots & Automation team to build the next-generation bot runtime platform
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 7+ years of experience building successful production software systems
- Strong programming skills in Java Spring Boot with knowledge of multi-threading
- Expert-level knowledge of Databases (SQL, NoSQL) like Cassandra and MySQL
- Experience building REST APIs and debugging distributed microservice-based applications
