Java Consultant
Job Summary
To support a growing software development team, the full-time Java Consultant will develop scalable web applications using Java and related technologies, conduct testing, and participate in the full development lifecycle while working onsite in Texas.
Key responsibilities
- Develop scalable web applications utilizing Java 8/17, Spring Boot, and various front-end technologies
- Conduct testing and perform code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability
- Implement AI integration and stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in Java development
Required qualifications
- Experience in Java and JavaScript programming languages
- Basic understanding of the software development life cycle and object-oriented programming (OOP)
- Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and basic SQL query skills
- 0-1 year of practical experience in Java coding
- Familiarity with Spring, Maven, React.js, HTML, and CSS
