Job Summary
A company is looking for a Java Developer with Kafka experience to support the Veterans Affairs program.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop data pipelines, streams, and connectors for event-driven architectures
- Transform data production, consumption, and sharing across the portfolio
- Support modernization efforts to enhance efficiency in processing Veterans benefits
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in application development, specifically backend Java
- 5+ years of experience designing and maintaining complex data applications at an enterprise scale
- 3+ years of experience with Kafka and Kafka stream processing technologies
- 2+ years of experience working with Oracle databases and AWS RDS databases
- 2+ years of experience applying event-driven architecture patterns for enterprise systems
