Java Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Java Developer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs Corporate Portfolio clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, implement, test, and troubleshoot Java server pages-based applications using the JSF framework
• Design, develop, and test new features in VA applications while maintaining communication with development colleagues
• Create and update SQL queries for database synchronization and provide defect modifications for budget execution and reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five or more years of experience
• Proficiency in Java JSF Primefaces and basic HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, XHTML, and JQuery
• Experience with SQL for Oracle, including writing stored procedures and managing databases
• Familiarity with GIT, APIs, Linux, and AWS
• Ability to obtain a VA Position of Public Trust - Medium Background Investigation (MBI)
