Java Developer

Job Summary

Developing applications using Java 8/JEE and modern frameworks, the full-time Java Developer will write scalable code, create automated tests, and collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop applications utilizing Java 8/JEE, Angular 2+, React.js, and SQL
• Write and maintain scalable, secure code while collaborating with testers to resolve defects
• Support continuous improvement by investigating new technologies and presenting them for review

Required qualifications

• Experience with Java and JavaScript programming languages
• Basic understanding of the software development life cycle and object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Familiarity with relational databases and basic SQL query skills
• Knowledge of common APIs and data structures such as Collections and Maps
• 0-1 year of practical experience in Java coding is preferred
