Java Developer

Job Summary

To support the insurance industry, the contract-to-hire Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain applications using full-stack Java technologies while working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain applications using full-stack Java technologies and complex stored procedures in IBM DB2
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and contribute to architectural discussions
• Support PARM-related data integration and ensure the accuracy of rating data across policy administration platforms

Required qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field, or comparable education and experience
• Proven experience developing enterprise-level applications with strong knowledge of full-stack Java development
• Strong knowledge of complex stored procedures, preferably in DB2
• Experience working within Agile methodologies and familiarity with Git and Jira
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
