Java Developer

Job Summary

Joining a remote team, the contract Java Developer will focus on building and maintaining an internal application that supports supply chain operations, utilizing Java 21+, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies like GCP and Kubernetes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Java-based microservices using Spring Boot
• Implement functional and reactive programming techniques in application development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient order creation, movement, and delivery processes

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with Java, specifically Java 17 and above
• 4+ years of experience in building Java-based microservices with Spring Boot
• Proficiency in reactive and functional programming
• Experience with automated testing methodologies, particularly TDD
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
