Java Developer
Job Summary
Supporting the sustainment and modernization of mission-critical applications, the full-time Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java applications while working remotely within the U.S.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications utilizing legacy and modern technologies
- Analyze and resolve complex software defects and production issues, contributing to application enhancements
- Collaborate with architects and senior developers on modernization initiatives, including REST and SOAP-based services
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-7 years of professional software development experience, with 5+ years in Java development for enterprise solutions
- 3+ years of experience with Spring Framework and/or Spring Boot
- 5+ years of experience developing REST APIs and web services
- Experience with Oracle or other relational databases and Git-based source control
