Java Developer
Job Summary
To support the development of healthcare applications, the full-time Java Developer will build features, correct defects, and contribute to sprint delivery while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain application features for the CMS Drug Data Processing System and Payment Reconciliation System
- Correct software defects and develop reusable software components and database enhancements
- Deliver code through the CMS CI/CD pipeline and maintain source code documentation in accordance with CMS standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 4 or more years of Java application development experience
- Solid Java development skills with a proven track record of delivering production application features
- Working knowledge of Python for scripting and application support
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and source control tools like GitHub and Jenkins
- Understanding of unit testing frameworks and the importance of automated test coverage
