Java Developer
Job Summary
To support the development of a real-time event-driven API ecosystem, the contract Java Developer will work remotely to build a robust webhook ingestion system, enhance lender decisioning workflows, and optimize data retrieval processes over a term of 3-6 months.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a secure, real-time webhook ingestion system ensuring high availability and reliability
- Implement API triggers to retrieve loan applications and develop business logic for loan decisioning based on underwriting criteria
- Design and integrate follow-up API calls for financial data collection while optimizing data flow between external systems and internal infrastructure
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java, particularly in event-driven systems
- Strong expertise in API development and webhook processing
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including event-driven architectures
- Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar event-streaming technologies
- Experience in database design and optimization (SQL & NoSQL)
