Java Developer
Job Summary
Supporting the sustainment and modernization of mission-critical applications, the full-time remote Java Developer will design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java applications while contributing to modernization efforts using Spring Boot, microservices, and API-driven architectures.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications
- Analyze and resolve complex software defects and production issues
- Collaborate with architects and senior developers on modernization initiatives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-7 years of software development experience
- Strong experience with Java development and the Spring Framework/Spring Boot
- Experience developing REST APIs and web services
- Experience working with Oracle or other relational databases
