Java Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Java Engineer to lead the development and support of mission-critical systems for secure communication between Veterans and their healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservice-based REST APIs and legacy Java applications
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to design scalable solutions
• Ensure seamless integration across VA infrastructure systems

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of backend software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Spring Boot
• Experience designing and developing secure RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle
• Bachelor's Degree
