Java Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Java Engineer to support a high-impact data platform for reporting dashboards and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines using Java and Spark for processing large datasets
• Develop Spark jobs to create unified views from disparate data sources for ingestion into Druid
• Optimize Kafka configurations and manage data propagation across systems for reliability and performance

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with strong proficiency in Java
• Hands-on experience building large-scale data pipelines using Apache Spark
• Familiarity with data pipeline frameworks and building reusable components
• Experience working with Kafka, including performance tuning and optimization
• Experience deploying and debugging applications in AWS environments, including Kubernetes (EKS)
