Java Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing engineering team, the full-time Java Engineer will create and modify software solutions, participate in engineering efforts, and collaborate across departments while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement software solutions that meet customer needs and align with software engineering strategies
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while participating in product planning and implementation
• Provide mentorship to junior developers and contribute to the recruitment of new talent for the team

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience
• 3 to 5 years of engineering experience with proficiency in Java, REST APIs, Kafka, Spring Boot, and GitHub
• Experience with AI tools aimed at enhancing engineering productivity
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and systems design concepts
• Ability to debug code and analyze complex log files for troubleshooting product defects
