Java Engineer

Job Summary

To support the DHA EIDS team, the full-time remote Java Engineer will design and develop backend services and APIs in Java and .NET, focusing on enterprise health data delivery across the Military Health System.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and APIs using Java and .NET technologies
• Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices with Spring Boot and ASP.NET Core
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and participate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java with hands-on experience in the Spring ecosystem
• Experience with .NET development, including C# and ASP.NET Core
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases like MS SQL Server or Oracle
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
