Java Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

Supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) SSD program, the full-time Java Full Stack Developer will design, develop, troubleshoot, and enhance software applications while collaborating with Agile Scrum teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software to meet end user acceptance criteria
• Managing assignments to resolve software defects or implement features while ensuring high quality under the supervision of a Solution Architect
• Estimating and scoping development tasks, recommending innovations and improvements for software component designs

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of work experience developing in Java and J2EE (full stack)
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Systems, Management Information Systems, IT Management, or other IT-related fields
• Strong programming skills with Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and related technologies
• Extensive experience in developing RESTful WebServices using frameworks like Node.js and Spring Framework
• Working experience in Agile methodologies and the ability to obtain a U.S. Suitability/Public Trust Background Clearance
