Java Integration Engineer II

Job Summary

Supporting the modernization of Insurance and Annuity administration platforms, the full-time remote Java Integration Engineer II will develop, test, maintain, and integrate systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to build cloud-based capabilities using technologies such as AWS, MuleSoft, Spring Boot, and Java.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain systems to contribute to critical business capabilities
• Participate in ideation sessions to create innovative digital solutions, including applications, APIs, and services
• Adapt to various roles such as individual contributor, leader, teacher, or mentor within the team

Required qualifications

• Experience with AWS, Java, Spring/Spring Boot, TypeScript, and microservices within the last three years
• Proficient in developing unit tests (JUnit/Spock) and using version control
• Collaborative mindset with a willingness to work closely with team members
• Ability to work remotely with access to high-speed internet from the United States or Puerto Rico
• Driven to learn new technologies through research and investigation
