Java Performance Architect
Job Summary
To optimize complex enterprise Java environments, the full-time remote Java Performance Architect will diagnose performance issues, design solutions, and lead technical discovery sessions while collaborating with clients and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the investigation and resolution of complex Java performance issues across the technology stack
- Analyze JVM and application behavior to identify root causes and recommend improvements
- Produce and present technical findings, architecture recommendations, and implementation roadmaps
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of experience in designing and architecting complex enterprise applications
- Deep hands-on experience with Java and JVM performance optimization techniques
- Experience with enterprise Java frameworks and application servers such as Spring, WebSphere, or Tomcat
- Strong experience diagnosing production performance issues across multiple layers
