Java Product Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Java Product Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise software applications remotely, focusing on Java Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, and collaboration with Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modernize enterprise Java applications, including scalable REST APIs and backend microservices
• Optimize Oracle database performance and develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines while participating in Agile ceremonies and collaborating with business stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of enterprise Java application development experience with strong proficiency in Java 17 or later
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs
• Strong Oracle or relational database experience, including complex SQL and performance optimization
• Experience with Maven, Git, and CI/CD pipelines, as well as automated testing using JUnit and Mockito
