Java Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support application development, the full-time Java Software Engineer will develop scalable applications using Java 8/JEE, Angular 2+, and other technologies while collaborating with team members to achieve sprint goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop applications utilizing Java, Angular, React.js, and SQL while writing secure and maintainable code
• Create, deploy, and maintain automated system tests, resolving defects in collaboration with testers
• Investigate and present alternatives and technologies for continuous improvement and architectural review

Required qualifications

• Experience in Java and JavaScript programming languages
• Basic understanding of the software development life cycle and object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Knowledge of relational databases and basic SQL query skills
• Familiarity with common APIs and data structures such as Collections and Maps
• Entry-level candidates with a Master’s degree in computer science are preferred
