Java Software Engineer

Job Summary

Developing applications using Java 8/JEE and modern frameworks, the full-time Java Software Engineer will write scalable code, create automated system tests, and collaborate with team members to achieve project goals in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop applications using Java 8/JEE, Angular 2+, React.js, and SQL
• Create, deploy, and maintain automated system tests while resolving defects in collaboration with testers
• Support continuous improvement by researching and presenting alternative technologies for architectural review

Required qualifications

• Experience in Java and JavaScript programming languages
• Basic understanding of the software development life cycle and object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Knowledge of relational databases and basic SQL query skills
• Familiarity with common APIs and data structures
• 0-1 year of practical experience in Java coding is preferred
