Java Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support a mission-critical DoD software development program, the full-time remote Java Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain secure web-based applications while collaborating in Agile teams and ensuring adherence to quality and accessibility standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, test, and maintain secure application code following established standards
• Support software modernization efforts by implementing new capabilities and system improvements
• Participate in peer code reviews to ensure software quality and compliance with coding standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Java and web application development
• Proficiency with Git-based version control workflows
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and software quality practices
• Active Secret Security Clearance
