Java Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of innovative healthcare analytics applications, the full-time Java Software Engineer will design and develop high-quality software modules, conduct testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop maintainable software modules for the product suite
• Conduct unit and integration testing, and analyze requirements for implementation
• Mentor team members in software engineering methods and resolve software-related issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2-3 years' experience with Java or Python and databases like Microsoft SQL Server
• 3+ years' experience with enterprise design patterns and JDK technologies
• Experience with RESTful services, APIs, and platform engineering tools such as Bitbucket
• 1+ year experience with Spring Boot and familiarity with container orchestration platforms
