Java Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support system engineering initiatives, the contract Java Software Engineer III will analyze operational requirements, engineer systems, and evaluate data security while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure compatibility between equipment and software, analyze operational and system requirements, and present technical briefings
- Engineer systems through prototypes, proofs of concept, or full implementations
- Evaluate, assess, document, and test data security and continuity of operations for systems and programs
Required qualifications
- Minimum of seven years of experience analyzing user requirements and producing system specifications using UML or other data modeling standards
- At least nine years of experience with programming languages such as Java, Angular, and Springboot
- Six or more years of experience in application design, data warehousing, and database design
- Experience in module/unit testing and executing and documenting test results
- Broad knowledge of current network, development, and database architectures and technologies
