Java Software Engineer III

Job Summary

Java Software Engineer III, a remote contract position requiring extensive experience in software engineering, responsible for ensuring compatibility between systems, engineering solutions, and evaluating data security.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compatibility between equipment and software, analyze operational and system requirements, and support design reviews
• Engineer systems through prototypes, proofs of concept, or full implementations
• Evaluate and document data security and continuity of operations for systems and programs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years of experience analyzing user requirements and producing system specifications using UML or other data modeling standards
• At least one year of experience with user story development or analysis in an agile environment
• At least nine years of experience with programming languages such as Java, Angular, and Springboot
• Six or more years of experience in application design, data warehousing, and database design
• Experience as a technical leader in software engineering or related fields
