Java Software Engineer III

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Java Software Engineer III will analyze operational and system requirements, engineer systems through prototypes and implementations, and evaluate data security and continuity for various programs.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compatibility between equipment and software while supporting design reviews and presenting technical briefings
• Engineer systems by conducting prototypes, proofs of concept, and full system implementations
• Serve as a solutions provider to senior management regarding technological development and advancements

Required qualifications

• Minimum of seven years of experience analyzing user requirements and producing system specifications using UML or other data modeling standards
• At least nine years of experience with programming languages such as Java, Angular, and Springboot
• Six or more years of experience in application design, data warehousing, and database design
• Experience in module/unit testing and documenting test results
• Broad knowledge of current network, development, and database architectures and technologies
