Java Software Engineer III

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Java Software Engineer III will ensure compatibility between equipment and software, analyze operational requirements, and engineer systems through prototypes and full implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze operational and system requirements while supporting design reviews and presenting technical briefings
• Engineer systems by conducting prototypes, proofs of concept, and full system implementations
• Evaluate and document data security and continuity of operations for systems and programs

Required qualifications

• Minimum of seven years of experience analyzing user requirements and producing system specifications using UML or other data modeling standards
• At least nine years of experience with programming languages such as Java, Angular, and Springboot
• Six or more years of experience in application design, data warehousing, and security implementation
• Experience in module/unit testing and evaluating various technologies for business needs
• Proficiency with Internet/Intranet protocols and web server technologies
