Java Software Engineer III

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Java Software Engineer III will analyze operational and system requirements, engineer systems through prototypes and full implementations, and evaluate data security for various programs.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compatibility between equipment and software while supporting design reviews and presenting technical briefings
• Engineer systems, including conducting prototypes and proofs of concept
• Evaluate, assess, document, and test data security and continuity of operations for systems and programs

Required qualifications

• Minimum of seven years of experience analyzing user requirements and producing system specifications using UML or other data modeling standards
• At least nine years of experience with programming languages such as Java, Angular, and Springboot
• Six or more years of experience in application design, data warehousing, and database design
• Experience in module/unit testing and executing and documenting test results
• Broad knowledge of current network, development, and database architectures and technologies
