JavaScript Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting a large-scale JavaScript ecosystem modernization initiative, the full-time JavaScript Engineer will assist in migrating over 2,000 applications to newer JavaScript versions and from npm to pnpm while working remotely with teams across LATAM and aligning with US Central Time.
Key responsibilities
- Support the modernization of a large-scale JavaScript ecosystem and assist with application migrations
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to JavaScript application migrations, collaborating with engineering teams
- Analyze application dependencies and contribute to best practices for migration and build optimization
Required qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and migrating applications to newer versions
- Hands-on experience with pnpm and a deep understanding of the JavaScript open-source ecosystem
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving application migration issues
- Ability to work flexible hours to overlap with the US Central Time zone
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
