Jira Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Jira Administrator to support their Defense Healthcare Medical Systems program.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 support for the SDLCNext platform, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests
• Administer and maintain the SDLCNext platform, including configuration, user management, and workflow optimization
• Develop and maintain custom scripts and automation workflows in Jira to streamline operations and enhance system functionality

Required Qualifications

• Experience supporting Tier 1 service operations within the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence, JSM) in a federal or large-scale enterprise environment
• Strong experience working with Jira in an Agile environment, including backlog and sprint management
• Hands-on scripting and automation experience in Jira (e.g., ScriptRunner/Groovy, Jira Automation, JQL, REST APIs)
• Ability to organize and analyze work progress using Jira data and reports
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including program leadership and engineering teams
