Jira Architect

Job Summary

To support the Enterprise Services Network (ESnet) Work Structure team, the temporary remote Jira Architect will design and implement a scalable Jira architecture, lead data migrations, and establish governance standards over a 9-month contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and finalize ESnet's enterprise Jira architecture, including standardized issue hierarchies and enhancing Advanced Roadmaps for reporting
• Assess and remediate existing Jira configurations, consolidating redundant setups and developing reusable workflow schemes
• Lead enterprise-wide Jira data migration efforts while ensuring sprint continuity and providing training for executive leadership on portfolio reporting

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Jira Administration experience
• Demonstrated expertise with Jira Cloud and designing enterprise Jira environments for 100+ users
• Strong experience in workflow design, permission schemes, and custom field configuration
• Experience creating executive dashboards and portfolio reporting
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to collaborate remotely during Pacific Time business hours
