Joint Use QC Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Joint Use QC Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed outside plant facility engineering tasks including estimating, analyzing, and designing for copper and fiber cables
• Prepare and interpret engineering plans, drawings, and reports, and conduct periodic job inspections for quality control
• Organize permit packages for submittal and maintain complex files and records related to engineering operations

Required Qualifications

• Ability to identify existing voice/data plant and utilities on site plans and in the field
• Knowledge of obtaining right of ways and easements as required
• Expert knowledge of COE/OSP principles and work order procedures
• Experience with the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) for engineering requirements
• Must have own tools such as a measuring wheel, height stock, and laptop
