Job Summary
Coordinating and managing the joint use process for electric utility infrastructure, the full-time Joint Use Specialist will oversee pole attachment applications, ensure compliance with utility standards, and collaborate with various stakeholders in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the joint use process for projects involving electric utility poles and power infrastructure
- Prepare, submit, and track pole attachment applications with electric utilities and pole owners
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams and external utility representatives to review pole loading and attachment requirements
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of electric distribution systems and utility pole attachment standards
- Familiarity with joint use agreements, make-ready processes, and utility coordination procedures
- Strong organizational and project tracking skills
- Excellent communication and coordination skills when working with utilities and engineering teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools
