Joint Venture Accounting Director
Job Summary
To oversee joint venture accounting functions, the full-time Joint Venture Accounting Director will ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, manage partner communications, and collaborate closely with the Ophthalmology Financial Operations team in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop monthly financial statement packages for joint venture partners
- Coordinate and lead quarterly partner meetings and manage the JV budget
- Serve as the primary contact for financial guidance and assist with annual partnership returns
Required qualifications
- 4-6+ years of experience in an accounting role with some management experience
- Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and state/federal regulations
- 2-4 years of experience in public accounting or finance within a public company
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and SAP Accounting Software
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to financial statement accuracy
