Journeyman Computer Network Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Army Aviation and Missile Center, the full-time Journeyman Computer Network Specialist will provide technical assistance, maintain secure systems, and deliver Tier 1, 2, and 3 support while adhering to DoD cybersecurity policies in a primarily onsite environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance to maintain secure and available systems, resolving incidents and responding to service requests
• Deliver Tier 1, 2, and 3 level technical support to the AvMC Enterprise, ensuring all support requests are accurately logged
• Offer expertise in computer hardware and software installation, operation, troubleshooting, and user account management

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• DoD 8570 Level II/III certification
• US Secret Clearance
• Eight (8) years of prior experience in a similar role
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
