Job Summary

A company is looking for a Journeyman Contract Specialist to provide procurement support for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities

Solicit, evaluate, negotiate, and administer construction and Architect-Engineer (A&E) contracts
Support pre-award and post-award activities for construction and facility infrastructure projects
Analyze and evaluate pricing data and maintain complete contract files for procurements

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of federal contracting experience focused on Construction and/or A&E procurements
Experience administering construction and A&E contracts, including pricing and modifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Strong working knowledge of the FAR and VAAR, particularly related to construction and A&E
Experience supporting federal facilities or capital improvement projects is preferred
